The job position provides vital assistance to project managers and entails the responsibility of monitoring project schedules and budgets, preparing progress reports, and liaising with key stakeholders, in brief:
Collect and prepare data and background information in the areas of FAO activities (agriculture, forestry, fisheries, rural/sustainable development) in accordance with FAO’s Strategic Framework and in the appropriate format
Provide direct support to the preparation of technical programme work and travel plans; follow up the implementation of activities to ensure that they are carried out in line with the work and travel plans; review inputs, expenditures and time frames
Manage Corporate databases (i.e. PIRES, FPMIS); analyze and summarize data from various sources from United Nations Corporate Systems such as COIN, FPMIS, data Warehouse (iMIS)
Assist in determining availability if funder under the SFE technical programmes to manage a variety of procurements, managing charging budget codes
Prepare Letter of Agreements (LoA), Draft concept Notes , working documents, invitations, Budget estimations and forecast

The job position has an important role in ensuring the effective management of the programmatic component of the Liaison Office and has the following duties:
1. Providing programmatic deliverables of the Liaison Office in response to the 2016 – 2022 Strategic Framework
2. Preparing and regularly updating donor/partners and project profiles, and ensuring adherence to donor requirements
3. Compiling and analyzing project documentation, reports, work plans, project proposals and correspondence
4. Monitoring and reporting on budgets and activity status for timely implementation. As well as preparing the Status of Budget (quarterly, half yearly and annual) reports
5. Implementing a feedback system with Regional Offices, Central Office and partners to ensure timely submission and review of work plans, reports and other documentation/correspondence
